Vít Švec Trio is a classical piano, double bass and drums formation formed in 2000 in Prague.
This collaboration resulted in the album trio'02. The CD was awarded by Harmonie magazine in the Best Czech Jazz Recording of 2002 category. The band produces full-blooded and energetic mainstream jazz. The repertoire consists of their own compositions as well as covers of world composers (Herbie Hancock, Lyle Mays, Beatles, Keith Jarrett, Peter Bernstein, Freddie Hubbard, etc.).
